Grande Prairie's Eastlink Centre Runs on Evolution Combined Heat & Power

| Evolution Power Solutions

A 2×333 kW CHP install delivers an estimated $300,000+ per year in savings while heating the pool and facility.

GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB — Evolution Power Solutions' combined heat and power (CHP) model is powering and heating the Eastlink Centre, one of Grande Prairie's largest recreation facilities. Two 333 kW turbines generate electricity on site while their recovered heat serves pool and space-heating loads — an estimated $300,000+ in annual savings.

The project demonstrates Evolution's expansion beyond the oilfield into municipal, recreation, and campus facilities with simultaneous electric and thermal demand — arenas, rec centres, hospitals, and large campuses — where CHP delivers the strongest returns.

Evolution Power Solutions (an Enterprise Group company) delivers reliable, clean, and scalable field power for oil & gas, mining, midstream, and municipal operations across the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. With 65+ turbines deployed, 99%+ field uptime, and 3M+ runtime hours, Evolution converts the gas already at a site — wellhead, flare, tank vapor, sour, propane or delivered CNG — into decentralized power from 333 kW to 7.5 MW+.
